Indian Head Massage
What is an Indian Head Massage?
I offer my professional Indian Head Massage service in Nuneaton and surrounding areas.
The Indian head massage is based on the Ayurvedic system of healing which has been practiced in India for over a thousand years and focuses on the head, neck and shoulders.
An Indian Head massage can relieve built up tension that can often result in headaches, migraines, neck and back pain.
As a mobile beauty therapist I have been fully trained in Indian Head Massage and have many years of experience.
How does it work?
The aim of Indian head massage is to release the stress that has accumulated in the tissues, muscles and joints of the head, face, neck and shoulders by using special massage techniques.
What does it involve?
The client, fully clothed, sits in a massage chair for the treatment. I use a range of different movements including the application of deep kneading and compression movements over the neck, shoulder and scalp areas.
I also also gently stimulate the pressure points on the face. The session usually last for twenty minutes, however you can extend the session if required.
After the treatment I suggest that clients relax quietly for ten to twenty minutes. This is to ensure the client can enjoy the maximum effects of the massage.
What is it good for?
The Indian head massage is especially good for relieving stress, tension, fatigue, insomnia, headaches, migraine and sinusitis.
When these issues are combined it can take a toll on ones well-being and become a daily obstacle for everyday tasks.
Many of my clients report that the experience is deeply calming and relaxing. It leaves them feeling energised, revitalised and helps them to enjoy the everyday things that became difficult to do.
